Navigating Society LGBTQIIA+ Edition

Inclusive of sales taxThis 6 week program is specially designed for LGBTQIIA+ autistic/ADHD/neurodivergent adults (18+) seeking developmentally appropriate support navigating ‘adulting’ delivered in an accessible, affirming, professionally facilitated group setting with peers.
Participants will get access to individualized resources, professional and peer feedback, and professional support and referrals as arising and as needed.
The following broad topics are proposed and are subject to change in response to group discussion and feedback:
- Disability, Structural Oppression and Intersectionality (Introduction, group norms, icebreakers, defining terminology and goals as a group)
- What Are My Values? (self-knowledge, building confidence, setting healthy boundaries)
- Effective Self-Advocacy (in institutions eg work, school, government as well as interpersonally)
- Emotional Regulation/Self-Care for Grown-Ups (
- Special Interests Show and Tell/Teach-In (an opportunity for community building, peer support and perhaps finding a new interest!)
- TBD* (to be determined by the group in order to offer tailored/reflexive content)

| Payment/Refund/Absence Policy | Registration and payment in full* is required to reserve your spot in the group. Full refunds are available if requested on or before two (2) business days before the date of the first group session. If you attend the first session and decide the group is not right for you, please notify your provider as soon as possible about the situation and you will be refunded the total amount paid (less $30 in administration charges). If you are unable to attend a scheduled group meeting due to illness or another reason, please notify your provider as soon as possible. They will work directly with you to make alternate arrangements (alternate arrangements may include, but are not limited to: invitation to another group session, provision of materials/instruction covered in session, a one-on-one in lieu of missed group meetings, etc). Please note that neither refunds nor alternative arrangements are available if requested after the last scheduled group meeting date. *Installment plans are available upon request.
